Every country has stepped up their commitment to reduce / ban petrol & diesel vehicles over a period time. India is not the only country with stiff targets. Norway wants to ban all petrol and diesel cars by 2025 and Germany wants to have only electric cars by 2030 and UK has a target of 2040. So, the car industry globally has a reason to get cracking on producing electric vehicles As per 'National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) 2020', India is committed to shifting to electric vehicles by 2030.
Powering electric vehicles through solar energy is inevitable. Solar power is the preferred choice for charging electric vehicles (EVs). The demand for solar energy will increase; additional 50,000 MW will be required at the start of electric vehicle revolution; demand will only increase proportionately to the increase in electric vehicle sales.
